My thesis – Giving Voice to Grief 2022

Dear reader,

As promised I have finally gotten around to putting a copy of my thesis on the website. I found myself procrastinating a long time over doing this. It is not easy writing at the best of times and to write something that comes from the heart is extremely challenging. Writing this thesis brought me deeper into my story, allowing myself be drawn deeper into the healing process. I have always found it very difficult to speak openly about my story and the loss of my daughter. Writing has helped me to do this. It s like coming across a stranger and you find yourself spilling your story, your deepest thoughts to someone you've never met before. Walking away from this person you feel a sense of lightness.
